By Definition, Punjab is the vast geographical entity lying from Delhi to Peshawar and Kashmir to Kashmor. The present population of the Punjabi Nation is composed of Muslim Punjabi, Hindu Punjabi, Sikh Punjabi, and Christian Punjabi is 200 million.

The geographical location of Punjab bridges China, Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia and due to the inhabitants of the Indus Valley Civilization, the Sammat residents of Sindh and Brahui residents of Balochistan are the historical neighbours of the Punjabi Nation. Therefore, the Punjabi Nation is an important factor in the Geopolitics of China, Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia.

Pakistan is a Punjabi majority state due to the 60% Punjabi population of Pakistan with domination in the military establishment, civil bureaucracy, foreign affairs, agricultural sector, industrial sector, trade sector, services sector, political organizations, media organizations, education institutions, and skilled professions.

Punjab Province of Pakistan is the largest province of Pakistan in terms of population. The population of Punjab is more than the total population of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

If the Punjab of Pakistan is considered a separate country, then Pakistani Punjab, in terms of population, is the 11th largest country in the world.

Pakistani Punjab has a 130 million population. Indian Punjab is 30 million, Haryana 30 million, Himachal Pradesh 7 million and the total population of United Punjab is 197 million.

If United Punjab is considered a separate country, then United Punjab, in terms of population, is the 7th largest country in the world, and no country in Europe will be the largest in terms of population than United Punjab.

If Punjab had not been divided in 1947 or again included in Pakistan by demolishing the Red Cliff Line, then the population of Pakistan would be 297 million, and in terms of population, Pakistan will be the 4th largest country in the world after China, 1,448 million, India 1,406 million and the United States 334 million.

When divided and weak, it becomes the battlefield for the power struggle of regional states.

When united and strong, it becomes the most powerful state in the subcontinent and starts dominating and commanding neighbouring States.

United Powerful Punjab will always be resisted by other states at all costs. History is witness to it.

Today, Punjab is divided into four petty states between two countries, with its rivers unnaturally divided to supply water to other regions and turn Punjab’s best agricultural lands into literal deserts.

Politically, Punjabis are fighting the battles of others on their lands, killing fellow Punjabis in the name of religion and State Nationalism, destroying their precious lands and mercilessly partitioning their motherland along religious lines.

The international border of Pakistan and India cuts through the heart of Punjabi heartland, foolishly turning the residents of Lahore, Faisalabad and Amritsar, Gurdaspur into imagined arch enemies, whereas they share the common blood and language, common history and geography.

Today, Punjab stands where Germany had been in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries before the unification of small German states and holds the same decisive power as Germany in Europe in the affairs of the Subcontinent.

Punjab has always been the kingmaker in the subcontinent. Whoever rules or subdues Punjab, rules the Subcontinent.

Today, the key to peace between Pakistan and India is in the hands of Punjabis on both sides of the border.

When Punjabis stop pursuing the imposed ideologies of regional powers and revive their lost identity and Punjabi Nationalism, then they will decide once again who rules over the subcontinent, and only then can peace be achieved in our wretched land.
